By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 2, 2024 No. UP-98 "On measures to improve the system of public administration in the field of preschool and school education," the activities of the Agency for Preschool Education were terminated, and the organizations in the organizational structure of the Agency were transferred to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.
Director of the agency Agrippina Vasilevna Shin was appointed rector of Puchon University in Tashkent by the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press secretary of the Prime Minister Bekzod Hidoyatov.
According to Presidential Decree No. 98 dated July 2, 2024, Puchon University in Tashkent was transferred to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education. That is, Agrippina Shin remained in the system of preschool and school education.
Viktor Veniaminovich Nam, the former rector of Puchon University, was appointed executive director of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Higher Education Institution "Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I.Gersen" in Tashkent, which was transferred to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education. Kakhramon Tanzilovich Olimov, who was working in this position, was released from his post.
It should be recalled that by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 2, 2024, the following organizations were transferred from the organizational structure of the Agency for Preschool Education to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education:
- Branch of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Gersen" in Tashkent;
- Puchon University in Tashkent;
- State multidisciplinary specialized preschool educational organizations with the "Imkon" rehabilitation center;
- Experimental state preschool educational organizations;
- SUE "Editation of the "Ilk Kadam" (IQ) magazine";
- Pedagogical colleges;
- LLC "Innovative Center of Information and Pedagogical Technologies";
- Group for the implementation of the project "Improving Early Childhood Development" in cooperation with the World Bank;
- Specialized project research institute.
