By the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-213 dated December 22, 2023, additional holidays are set. According to him, Uzbeks will rest for 4 consecutive days on the occasion of Nowruz holiday.
According to the Regulation "On General Secondary Education" approved by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers dated March 15, 2017 No. 140, a 7-day spring vacation is established for schoolchildren.
During this year's Nowruz holiday, all employees will have 4 days off in a row, regardless of the length of the working week.
March 21 — Thursday (Navroz holiday);
March 22 — Friday (additional day off for all employees);
March 23 — Saturday (additional day off for 6-day students);
March 24 - Sunday (regular day off).
March 20 is the last day of the third quarter for schoolchildren, and March 21 is the first day of spring vacation. The holiday lasts 7 calendar days, that is, until March 27. The IV quarter will start on March 28.
